or, the Tangled Web
(A Gothic Pantomime)
In this free-wheeling re-telling of the Victorian narrative poem of the same name, you'll enter the mansion of our Great Author’s mind as he sets out to write a brand new Panto, with the help of a “Spark” of inspiration sent to him by an encouraging Good Fairy.
Unfortunately, when old Cumbercrown, the Demon King, catches wind of the forthcoming creativity – in the joyful form of Panto, no less! – he resolves to doom the hapless Author’s every effort.
Will our Author complete his hoped for Panto, or will he suffer an everlasting bout of writer’s block? Or...will he wind up lost in an ever-spinning panto-within-a-panto...within a panto?
