FOOTNOTES
When the fairy kingdom mingles with mortals, wishes are granted, but only at a price.
This play was presented as part of a diptych called CRUEL BOTANY, which showcased the work of two celebrated gay playwrights who explore the sometimes savage and often hilarious nature of love.
Born in different countries, in different centuries, Federico Garcia Lorca and Harry Kondoleon are worlds apart; yet each creates haunting landscapes filled with unexpected shifts in tone, and where magical and often startling transformations hide beneath every leaf.
Below you will find the the gallery showcasing photos from The FAIRY GARDEN, which highlights the Kondoleon segment of the evening.
